Hi. Thank you.

The term "patriarchy" is interesting in how it functions to, in my opinon, perpetuate the trauma I spoke of in my article. It's sort of a politcal slogan, and one of the most insidous kind, namely of those varitey of slogans that construct a concept which sets up a bulwark about itself making it immune to "moral" critique, ie. one comes across as a Jerk to say "No, patriarchy is not the cause" or "The patriarchy doesn't exist," (or something silimar).

And due to its being an uncritiqueable concept, it, like all uncritique ideas*, is dangerous, for in this case, as I mentioned, it exacerbates and perpetutes a status quo, one which induces trauma on males.

*NOTE: When I write "uncritiqueable" I mean uncritiqueable in a certain social domain, namely on "social media" and inside any vehicle that is dubbed "popular culture." Certainly, in the Academy (and elsewhere), "patriarchy," as it is commonly understood by lay-persons, has been dismantled o so long ago, and is readily critiqueable.
